Stephen M. Kahlow

I enlisted in the Navy as an Electrician's Mate (Nuclear) in 2015, then commissioned as a Surface Warfare Officer (Nuclear) in 2017. I served as the Electronic Warfare Officer on USS Stockdale (DDG 106) during West Pacific/Middle East deployment and as the Reactor Electrical Division Officer on USS Nimitz (CVN 68) during a West Pacific deployment. I am about to graduate from UW-Madison's School of Business with a Master's of Business Administration specializing in Operations and Technology Management. I will soon report to Department Head School in Newport, RI and then serve an additional two tours at sea before deciding whether or not to stay in the Navy or resign my commission.

 

I married my college sweetheart, Talia, in 2017. She is a small business owner and Behavior Analyst specializing in sleep training and child behavior therapy. We share a magnificent daughter, Adelyn, born in 2021 who is fascinated with Disney princesses, gymnastics, and bugs. We are excited to continue moving around the country and the world to experience different cultures, taste unique foods and drinks, and hike new trails wherever we go.
